Diploma of Remedial Massage qualification reflects the role of remedial massage therapists who work with clients presenting with soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance or restrictions in range of motion (ROM). Practitioners may be self-employed or work within a larger health service. To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 200 hours of work as detailed in the assessment requirements of units of competency. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
Diploma of Beauty Therapy qualification reflects the role of individuals employed as beauty therapists to provide a broad range of beauty therapy treatments and services including facial treatment, body massage and treatments, hair removal, lash and brow treatments, nail and make-up services. This includes consultation with clients to provide beauty advice, recommend beauty treatments and services, and sell retail skincare and cosmetic products.
Certificate III in Hairdressing qualification reflects the role of hairdressers who have knowledge and skills to pursue a hairdressing career and work as part of a team. They use a range of well-developed sales, consultation, and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients. They use discretion and judgement to provide client services and take responsibility for the outcomes of their work.
The Certificate III in Plumbing qualification reflects the prior skills recognition program for an individual who wants to convert their previous learning and experience into professional plumber with nationally recognized qualification.
